Sheets, mud, and screws in one shot

The sheet count is the number that matters, and it is easy to guess low once you factor in cuts and waste. This adds a 10 percent allowance and rounds up.

Bigger sheets mean fewer seams to tape and a cleaner finish, so use 4 by 12 where you can handle them. The tool lets you switch sizes and see the count change.
