What is a schedule of values?
A schedule of values breaks your contract price into line items. Each line gets a dollar value. As work gets done, you bill the percent complete of each line. It is the backbone of G702/G703 style progress billing: the continuation sheet on every pay application is your schedule of values with billing columns.
Schedule of values questions
Is this really free?
Yes. No email, no signup. Build it online or download the Excel or PDF and use it.
Does the Excel file do the math?
Yes. Completed to date, balance to finish, retainage, and the totals row are live formulas. You only type scheduled values and percent complete.
Will it match an AIA G703?
It follows the same column structure as a G703 continuation sheet, so it lines up with G702 style progress billing.
What line items should I use?
The builder includes starter line item libraries for commercial tenant improvement, electrical subcontract, and residential remodel projects. Load one and edit it to match your contract.
