Contract setup
Build the schedule of values before you bill.

The schedule of values breaks the contract into the lines you will bill against, like site work, framing and electrical. Each line has a scheduled value. The lines must add up to the contract amount before you can send a pay application.
- Open the contract project and click the Contract tab.
- The schedule of values lists every line of the contract with its scheduled value. Pay applications bill against these lines by percent complete.
- Each line shows its description and scheduled value. The Total at the bottom must match the contract amount before you can bill.
- Approved change orders are listed under Change Orders below the schedule and adjust the contract total.
Good to know
- Lock after billing. Once the first pay application exists, the schedule of values is locked. Add approved change orders instead of editing lines.
- Reorder lines by dragging the handle on the left. The order prints on the continuation sheet.
- Change orders appear below the schedule once approved and adjust the contract total.

Werx warns you and will not send a pay application until they match.
Can I import the schedule from a spreadsheet?
Start the project from an itemized estimate and the lines carry over. Otherwise add them here.
