Catalog

Your price book of products and services.

Updated October 15, 2026

The catalog is the list of things you sell and buy, with a name, type, unit, price and cost. Build it once and pull items into estimates, invoices and purchase orders instead of typing them each time.

  1. In the left navigation, click Revenue > Catalog.
  1. Click Add Item to add a product or service: name, type, SKU, unit, price and cost. Use the caret next to the button to Import from Excel or, when connected, Import from QuickBooks.
  2. Catalog items are the price book you pull into estimates, invoices and purchase orders.

Item types

Each item has a type: Material, Labor, Equipment, Subcontractor or Other. The type decides which cost bucket the item lands in on budgets and the dashboard.

Import from QuickBooks Online

Connected accounts can import products and services from QuickBooks during the setup wizard, or later from the caret next to Add Item. Imported items stay linked, so invoices sync with the right QuickBooks item.

Catalog FAQ

Do I have to use the catalog?

No. You can type a one-off line on any estimate or invoice. The catalog just saves time on things you sell often.

Can I change a price later?

Yes. Documents you already saved keep the old price. New ones use the new price.
