Change orders
Put approved changes on the contract.
Updated October 15, 2026
A change order is the formal change to the contract. It bundles one or more approved change order requests, adjusts the contract sum, and adds lines to the schedule of values so you can bill them on the next pay application.
- Open the contract project and click the Contract tab. Approved change orders are listed under the schedule of values and adjust the contract total.
- To add one, click Add in the top right and choose Add Change Order. Pick the approved change order requests to include, or enter the lines directly.
- Click Save. The change order's amount is added to the adjusted contract and to the next pay application's schedule of values.
- A saved change order shows who approved it and when, the amount, and the billing description that prints on the pay application.
