Create a time and material project

Bill the hours and materials you actually use.

A T&M project has no fixed contract amount. Your crew logs time, you add the items you used, and you invoice what you logged. Use it for service work, repairs and jobs where the scope is open.

  1. In the left navigation, click Projects > T&M Projects.
  1. Click Create Project in the top right.
  1. On Project Details, pick the customer, name the project, set the payment terms and the job site address. A T&M project has no fixed contract amount; you bill the time and materials you log.
  2. Click Next for Contacts and Assignments, then Finish.

T&M projects FAQ

Can I set a not-to-exceed amount?

Set a budget on the Budget tab and watch actual cost against it. Werx does not block logging past it.

Can I switch a project between contract and T&M?

No. Create a new project of the other type.
